Do your soul contracts feel empowering or restricting right now?
Many years ago a client came to me struggling to let in a healthy loving relationship into her life. Her partner matched her needs, desires, and wants. And overall, was otherwise healthy. But she just seemed to keep fighting it every step of the way. I got curious.
We explored her early childhood experiences and they didn’t seem to point to the root of the problem. As we kept diving deeper, she discovered there was a sense that someone else was out there for her and she was waiting for them. Not FOMO (fear of missing out). But rather a truly heart yearning, my person is still out there kinda way. This sparked an intuitive hit in me that her feeling was connected to a past life and maybe even a soul agreement.
When I guided her to connect with the records keepers who protects and manages her soul’s contract, we discovered a past life connection. She was holding onto a lover she had had many past lives with and consistently lost along the way. Their story over and over again was one of true love and tragedy. She wondered, was she meant to reconnect with him again in this life? To get our answers, we got in touch with his soul to have a conversation.
What happened next surprised her, he told her to let go. While he still loved her very much, he explained that in this lifetime they were meant to walk their separate paths. Where was he? On another continent in the world and this lifetime was about finding other partners.
His words rang a truth chord deep in her heart and she started to weep. Both in grief and in relief. Finally she understood this ache inside of her for so long. From there we went through a process to release an agreement she previously made with herself to wait and find him again. At least for this lifetime.
As the days went on after this potent session, clarity came in and a sense of joy in her partnership started to blossom. Although it almost felt unexplainable, she knew that her decision to let go of this agreement had opened the possibility for love in her life.
We all have soul contracts and agreements. The question is what terms in your soul contract or are influencing your life right now? And how do you feel about them?
Some are with ourselves and the greater Universe about what path, life lessons, or growth we want to do in this lifetime. Some soul contracts are commitments that we want to carry over from past lifetimes into this present life time. And some soul contracts are connected to other people and/or groups of people, like the story I told you of my client above.
Sometimes you can change soul contracts and agreements.
