How our ancestors can bring wider perspective

Many of us have moved into tight corners inside of ourselves and it’s time to expand back out.

This summer I found myself in a tight feeling space. Full of internal contraction and constriction as the pandemic ticks on.

Intuitively I felt pulled to nurture a wider perspective again to create more spaciousness in my body. Giving more voice to the soul part of myself since I’ve been so focused on the human side of me surviving this pandemic.

I decided to turn my attention to the pure consciousness/awareness under it all. A part of myself that never leaves.  Inside every single one of us.

I lost touch with this part of myself along the way. My nervous system felt spent weeks on the low simmer burner of pandemic anxiety.

I felt the call to expand.  Not in service of ignoring or denying the tight feelings. But rather to create a bigger container to hold it all.  Like a system upgrade, long overdue.

Creating a greater container to care for and hold our fears is healing.  Moving beyond the adult part of ourselves to tap into the ancient part of ourselves that can lovingly hold all parts of ourselves.  Where our fears don’t take up all the space in the inner rooms of ourselves and have a chance to exhale.

On this week’s episode of Tune In with Marci I reflected on how creating a wider perspective can heal our fears. And the role our ancestors can play.

I share:

  • An intuitive card pull and reading.

  • Teachings from three plants: aspen, rose, and rosemary.

  • How to expand when we want to contract.

  • How to maintain boundaries without shutting down.

  • A meditative practice to hold fear and anxiety.

  • And a channeled message from one of my ancestors.

Much love,

Marci
